On the 2nd of July at 7:00 PM in Dubai Knowledge Park — Block 13, Digital Renaissance Music Institute will be hosting a masterclass dedicated to the fundamentals of sound design using the Arturia MiniFreak.
This session is designed for producers and electronic music enthusiasts who want to understand how sounds are created from the ground up. Starting from the basics, participants will explore the core building blocks of synthesis, including oscillators, filters, and modulation, and how these elements interact to shape a sound.
Through guided demonstrations on the Arturia MiniFreak, the masterclass will break down practical techniques for designing basses, leads, textures, and experimental sounds, while also introducing creative approaches to sound manipulation and layering.
With a hands-on and educational approach, the session provides a clear foundation for developing a personal sound design workflow and a deeper understanding of synthesis in modern music production.
