THE ART OF DJING: core principles

On the 26th of March at 7:00 PM in Dubai Knowledge Park — Block 13, Digital Renaissance Music Institute will be hosting The Art of DJing: Core Principles, the first masterclass in our new educational series developed in collaboration with DJ Corner.

This session is designed for aspiring DJs and electronic music enthusiasts who want to understand the fundamentals of modern DJ performance using professional AlphaTheta CDJ systems. Participants will explore essential techniques such as track selection, beatmatching, phrasing, and the structure of a DJ set, while also learning how to read crowd energy and build momentum on the dancefloor.

The workshop offers a practical introduction to a professional club-style setup, combining creative and technical insights into the craft of DJing. It also marks the beginning of a multi-session masterclass series focused on DJ performance, music production, and contemporary electronic music culture.
