Whether you’re stepping into the studio for the first time or transitioning from another DAW, this course teaches you how to confidently record, edit, and mix using Avid’s professional-grade software.
Following the core of Avid’s Pro Tools Fundamentals I & II, this course also prepares you for the official AVID Pro Tools User Certification exam — the first milestone on the AVID Certified track.

Learn mic input setup, track arming, click track, and capturing takes using playlists.
Cut, trim, nudge, fade, and crossfade using Smart Tool and Edit Modes.
Compose with Xpand!2, Boom, and third-party plugins; quantize and edit MIDI data.
Use Elastic Audio to manipulate timing and pitch without losing quality.
Use playlists for alternate takes and comp the best performances.
Use EQs, reverbs, and delays; route with aux tracks and submixes.
Automate volume, panning, effects; optimize workflow using memory locations and markers.
