This DJ Intensive is your entry point into the world of professional DJing. Designed for absolute beginners, the course introduces you to essential DJ techniques and the creative mindset needed to build your first mixes and perform live. You’ll work on beatmatching, cueing, EQing, and transition building using industry-standard gear and software.
Through weekly hands-on sessions, you’ll develop confidence behind the decks and learn how to structure a DJ set, handle real-time performance scenarios, and craft your own sound. Whether you’re aiming to perform in clubs, produce online mixes, or integrate DJing into your artist practice, this course gives you the technical foundation and creative freedom to get started.

Learn how to connect and configure DJ gear (CDJs, mixer, speakers) and understand input/output routing.
Explore audio file types, track organization, and playlist preparation in rekordbox (Export Mode).
Master the basics of cueing, starting tracks accurately, and creating effective drop-style transitions.
Learn how to manually sync two tracks using tempo, jog wheels, and pitch adjustment.
Shape your mixes with EQ bands and filters for smoother and more creative blends.
Understand how to build a DJ set with dynamic contrast, energy control, and musical storytelling.
Introduce performance tools like looping, hot cue juggling, and basic effects for live variation.
Try mixing with vinyl and analog gear to build tactile awareness and broaden your DJ vocabulary.
